Action Adaptation Demo

Authors: de la Rosa, Ferstl, & Bülthoff (2016), Sci Rep, 6, 23829, 1-8

Here we provide an example for the visual action adaptation effect described in the companion paper of de la Rosa et al. (under revision). Please note that the method to demonstrate the adaptation effect here is different from the method to measure the adaptation effect in the companion paper.

The main purpose of the demonstrations is to show that the categorical percept of an action is malleable and can be visually experienced. The demonstration will take about 1 min altogether. Results are best when viewed on a desktop computer with the browser window maximized. Please note that the video will automatically run in full-screen mode.
